CEI Builders Supports Grand Opening of Guthrie’s Chicken

CEI Builders is proud to announce the successful delivery of the Guthrie’s Chicken restaurant in North Las Vegas — the latest addition to the beloved Southern fried chicken chain’s expansion into Nevada. The new restaurant marks Guthrie’s return to the Las Vegas Valley after about a decade and brings the brand’s iconic menu of golden fried chicken fingers, Texas toast, fries, coleslaw, and sweet tea to local guests and families.
A Return to the Valley
Guthrie’s, known as one of the original chicken-finger-focused restaurant concepts, opened its doors in North Las Vegas in 2024 as part of a broader growth strategy under new franchise leadership, which includes a 50-unit development agreement spanning Western states including Nevada.
The North Las Vegas location at 3255 Simmons Street brings Guthrie’s classic menu back to the region, delighting longtime fans and introducing a new generation to the brand’s Southern-style comfort food.
CEI Builders’ Role
CEI Builders served as the general contractor for the Guthrie’s Chicken project, overseeing the complete construction delivery of the restaurant from permitting through execution. This retail project — led by Project Manager Kristi Foster — included ground-up construction, interior and exterior finishes, MEP coordination, and site readiness to support a full-service dining environment with fast-casual operations.
